National Education Recruitment Advertising and Resourcing Service (NERARS) Agreement

Published

The new NERARS framework now covers advertisement creation and production, type setting and copywriting, media buying, art direction, brand management and where required full creative services for new advertising campaigns. NERARS also offers innovative service options for candidate generation, websites and micro-sites, digital creative services and increasingly popular social media services.

As this framework has been tendered on behalf of both HE and FE bodies, the consolidated buying power of these two sectors makes this a highly competitive route to market.

The framework offers several benefits:
  • Additional opportunities for cost savings at the mini-competition stage

  • A fully EU compliant route to market

  • Choice and competition amongst experienced suppliers

  • Opportunity to refine exact requirements over and above the basic contract terms.

The simplified call-off procedure gives buyers two options: you can either make a direct award or you can undertake a further competition between all suppliers. Further guidance on call-offs and running a further competition can be found within the Buyer’s Guide for this framework.

The new agreement started on 1st January 2015 and will run for four years. All the relevant supplier information is now accessible via our website.
