New framework for Paint and Decorating Supplies

Published

By Lisa O'Shea

CPC have been working on a brand new framework for the provision of Paint and Decorating Supplies. This new agreement will be the result of a fully OJEU compliant tender exercise, and will replace the current lot included in Construction, Workshop and Estates Supplies. It is designed to act as a one-stop-shop for all paint products and paint related supplies.

The purpose of creating a standalone framework for paint is to allow CPC a degree of stability from market fluctuations and it will afford members advantageous pricing based on economies of scale from aggregated spend. We are pleased to inform members that the tender documentation will be available for suppliers on MultiQuote within the coming weeks, and members are encouraged to inform their incumbent suppliers so that the opportunity is not missed. Suppliers can register on MultiQuote at any time, and it is recommended that they monitor the Contracting Pipeline on the CPC website, which will give them an indication of when the opportunity will be live on the portal.

It is expected that the launch date of the new framework will coincide with the end date for Construction, Workshop and Estates Supplies and will be available from 1st September 2018. If any members or suppliers have any queries or concerns relating to this, they should contact Lisa O’Shea, Junior Contracting Officer on [email protected] or on 0161 974 0947.
