New framework Launched - Fixed Wire Testing

CPC are pleased to announce the launch of our Fixed Wire Testing framework which has been successfully awarded and is available for members to use.

The framework offers value for money and gives access to comprehensively vetted regional and local suppliers. It provides a compliant route for members requiring the provision to undertake the comprehensive inspection, testing, servicing and surveying of whole fixed electrical installations, within the buildings indicated by the member institution, their outbuildings, extensions and all associated external services.

Equipment which is covered by the framework includes:

  • Main Intake Switchgear and supply cables
  • General/Emergency Lighting, Power Installations HVAC equipment and associated controls (mains supplies) including outgoing circuits from all control panels.
  • Fixed Equipment will form part of this contract – this will include water heaters, fans. space heaters, pumps, hand dryers, - the electrical contractor must test all fixed appliances within each building

A total of 8 suppliers have successfully been awarded a place on the framework agreement which will run from 13th August 2019 until 31st July 2021 with a possible extension of one year until 31st July 2022.
