The new Washroom Services and Period Dignity Solutions purchasing framework from NWUPC went live on 1st May, providing education institutions with a simple, ease-to-use and compliant route to market for this particular category.

The framework offers members a one-stop shop for the procurement of washroom services and associated products and services, with its remit including, but not limited to:

  • Hygiene Waste Collection & Disposal Services

  • Hand Care & Drying Products and Services

  • Air Care Products & Replenishment Services

  • Period Dignity Solutions

  • Vending Solutions

There are multiple benefits to using this framework, which can all be found on the dedicated framework page of our website.

A few of the compliant framework agreement's benefits include:

  • More advantageous pricing based on economies of scale

  • Reduced administrative effort and associated cost savings

  • Flexibility to determine specific requirements at call-off stage

  • Multiple methods of call-off

Framework agreements also support longer term business planning, as they typically span a period of four years, ensuring some stability from market fluctuations. The new Washroom Services and Period Dignity Solutions framework by NWUPC arrives with a scheduled end date of 30th April 2027 and a two-year extension option in place.

Don’t forget that, through using a CPC-promoted purchasing framework, you are helping support our Giving Back charity initiative, which, in 2025, has a new focus on special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), wellbeing and absenteeism, funding projects and purchases that can help institutions support students/pupils in these areas.
