Following the great success of the previous Outsourced Catering Services Framework we would like to highlight that the new Framework was recently launched. CPC have listened to the valuable feedback from our members about how we might improve the framework and we now have up to 15 suppliers per region. There was also a particular emphasis from members to engage with smaller regional suppliers alongside the major national companies.
Over the last 3 years over 30 Institutions have used the previous Framework and we can report that already 6 Institutions have decided to use the new Framework. Many institutions have sought help from Martin Angell, CPC`s Specialist Catering Adviser to run the further competition and maximise the benefits of using the Framework. The option of offering high street brands, local sourcing, focussing on member affordability and supplier financial stability has all been key requirements in the development of the new framework.
