Our new PPE, Clothing and Uniforms framework has been live for two months. Throughout this article we would like to showcase what we are doing to support members with statistics on usage compared to the old framework and detail what CPC will continue doing to support members going forward.
What we have done to support members
FAQ web page
CPC has created a frequently asked questions web page to support members with any questions they may have as advice from official bodies can sometimes be unclear for what is relevant to individuals and institutions. CPC wanted to create a space where members could easily find answers to questions and also more information on current hot topics. The FAQ blog article is available to members on the CPC website.
Key stock level and lead time data
CPC have been liaising with the approved suppliers on the framework since it went live to find out key stock level and lead time data for high demand PPE items. This has helped us to inform members of supplier’s stock levels and potential lead times for items that are in high demand so they can ensure they are submitting opportunities in time to allow them to reopen safely. This is available to members on the FAQ blog article and is sent out via our social media channels and also our communicator email to make sure all our members see the information.
Webinar
CPC has also created a webinar about the PPE framework for members. This details what information and services CPC are supporting members with as well as information regarding the framework. It also features key details about CPC’s learnings in the marketplace to ensure members are staying best informed in the current everchanging environment. This is available to members on in the FAQ blog article on the CPC website.
Framework identifier
We have created the framework identifier tool to assist members in finding the most appropriate framework for the item or service they require. Due to the current pandemic and everchanging advice, CPC wanted to create a way for members to easily find the relevant framework for what they require from CPC’s wide range of offerings, to make it an efficient and less time consuming process to find the right framework to use. Find a link to it on the FAQ blog article on the CPC website.
Pricing Forecasting
CPC have also spoken to the approved suppliers on the framework regarding what they think will happen to pricing over the coming months and 3-month periods. This has been very useful in helping us to guide members with critical information about the future of the PPE market so they can make best informed decisions and keep up to date with factors about pricing. Find details of this on the FAQ blog article on the CPC website.
Stats on the new framework compared to old
CPC has seen a significant increase in volume through the framework during the first two months of operation and we thank our members and framework approved suppliers for their support with this growth. This growth wouldn’t be possible without our members and dedicated suppliers. We will keep supporting our members with requirements on the PPE, Clothing and Uniforms framework and hope to keep growing the framework over the coming months with your support.
Looking forward and continued support
CPC will continue to speak to the approved framework suppliers to obtain the key PPE item stock level and lead time data which has been greatly received by members. We will also continue to obtain pricing forecasts from the suppliers for future periods to ensure CPC and members are staying well informed with the everchanging marketplace. Finally CPC will continue to update the FAQ web page with relevant member queries that are being asked and also update the Framework Identifier and other relevant support documents to ensure members are well supported in your requirements for returning to work and staying safe.
