Schools and Academies Show November 2021 highlights

The CPL Group Village, the first of its kind (and sponsored by our Stationery and Educational Supplies framework supplier; Banner) proved to be a big hit and draw for all delegates attending the Schools & Academies show at the NEC in Birmingham.

Thank you to those members who took the time to come and talk with us at the show, it was great to meet you all!  With over 4.5k attendees over the two-day conference, we were able to raise the profile of CPL Group’s (the charity who own Crescent Purchasing Consortium and Tenet Education Services) work, in partnership with 12 suppliers, who exhibited with us on both days.

Our dedicated  Procurement Stage also proved to be very popular with lots of visitors attending insightful presentations from some of our procurement experts and suppliers.

One of the most popular talks attended was a case study presentation on wellbeing from Schools Advisory Service, (a supplier on our Staff Absence Protection and Reimbursement framework) where we had a full house of attendees.

During the two-day event, we also presented cheques to Orchard Hill College, The Ashcombe School, City College Plymouth, Runshaw College, and Dudley College, who were just a few of the 80 educational institutions to be successfully awarded our latest round of CPL Group funding for a range of student events, activities and learning resources.

Don’t miss the next funding opportunity!  If you would like to find out how to become eligible for future CPL Group funding rounds for student events and activities, please keep an eye out for future announcements about this on our CPL Group website.

As premiered at the event, a video showcasing the Group has also been developed which provides our members a short overview of our service offer and achievements, to view click on the link  here

Based on supplier and delegate feedback the CPL Village has proven to be a great success and once again, we would like to thank those of you who came and visited our village during the two days of the show. We look forward to bringing the same concept back but even bigger and better at next year’s Schools and Academies Shows!
