There's still time to apply for support from our latest charitable funding pot, as Crescent Purchasing Consortium's flagship Giving Back initiative prepares to back SEND, wellbeing and anti-absenteeism projects in 2025.

CPC was delighted to launch the fourth Giving Back funding window in January, with a renewed focus on SEND, wellbeing and absenteeism as a centrepiece. The focus of this fourth round of Giving Back funding will be supporting institutions from CPC’s 10,000+ strong membership in their efforts to help with the following:

• Special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

• Physical and mental wellbeing of learners (with or without SEND)

• Absenteeism (if a learner is not attending university, college or school, they cannot progress)

The Giving Back initiative has already achieved many successes since it launched in 2019, with over £1.5million designated for reinvestment into the UK education sector and, to date, £1 million of this has been spent on initiatives for institutions, covering a variety of purchases, projects and events.

• In 2019/20, CPC donated £259,020 in sponsorship grants to 33 members

• In 2021/22, CPC donated £288,309 in sponsorship grants to 68 members

• In 2023/24, CPC donated £201,668 in sponsorship grants to 33 members

The latest Giving Back application window will close on Friday 28th February, allowing CPC’s member institutions almost a full two months to submit their pitch for funding - for full details on how to apply, please visit our dedicated Giving Back section.

CPC Managing Director, Darren Lowe, said, "We understand how additional funding support for projects is essential across education and CPC is here to help. I’m delighted that Giving Back is now focused on helping the work institutions are doing in supporting SEND and wellbeing, as well as tackling absenteeism. Our Giving Back charity is at the heart of what we do and something you support each time you use a CPC service. I’m looking forward to seeing how the funding we issue will help make a difference to the future of education".
