This month, we wished a Happy Birthday to our sister brand Tenet Education Services, the not-for-profit procurement consultancy, that launched on 25th April 1995.
While the education world of April 1995 was quite different to today, Tenet has stood the test of time, providing 28 years of savings and support for institutions across the UK, helping those that might have lacked the time or the specific expertise to accomplish more effective procurement.
Experienced and trusted, Tenet’s education services themselves are wide-ranging and have been successfully deployed across a substantial spectrum of spend categories in the last three decades.
With the power and influence of a national entity at its disposal, Tenet operates a functioning network of skilled regional procurement professionals, working far and wide to the continued benefit of leaders and buyers at countless schools, academies, colleges, universities and trusts.
In enlisting Tenet’s procurement consultancy services, institutions can receive support in-person from a local Tenet expert, on-site from half-day visits to a long-term residency of five days a week.
Some examples were recently shared, recapping ‘A Day in the Life’ of Steve Haines and Jay Beedie; two members of Tenet’s team, based respectively in south Wales and along the south English coast.
Those looking for temporary assistance with a particular purchasing project might well meanwhile consider employing Tenet’s On Demand tender support, where specialists can design a competitive tendering process that ensures compliancy and targets value, while meeting individual needs.
Recognising the value in flexibility and the unique nature of learning hubs, Tenet can offer your institution its own, bespoke procurement service, thoughtfully tailored to specific requirements.
Educated and informed in the existing UK Public Contract Regulations, Tenet’s representatives will also be able to support during the implementation of the forthcoming Procurement Bill legislation.
In addition, 100% of profits made by Tenet are Gift Aided to the parent CPL Group charity, meaning hiring a Tenet professional could benefit the wider education sector, as well as your own institution.
Now proudly into its 29th year, our colleagues under the Tenet umbrella will be delighted to hear from any CPC members who thinks their institution might gain from some of the services on offer.
