After last month’s CPC Members’ Newsletter Back to School Special showcased our current array of facilities management frameworks, we are pleased to preview the next evolution of this procurement category - Total Facilities Management. 🏫
Total Facilities Management (or TFM) will see the combination and integration of all of the existing CPC facilities management frameworks. By consolidating and unifying these into a single contract, members will be able to benefit from operational time reductions, as well as reduced costs, when procuring their facilities management solutions.
TFM will be set up as a Dynamic Market, rather than a traditional framework, with Dynamic Markets steadily replacing Dynamic Purchasing Systems since Procurement Act 2023 went live in February. This will resolve an issue members had experienced with the preceding purchasing framework, allowing local suppliers to be added to the Dynamic Market across its lifespan.
CPC can inform members and other stakeholders that the pre-market engagement process for TFM has now been completed, with our team currently in the midst of compiling its tender documentation. To allow a sufficient window for retendering, our existing Facilities Management Services framework has been extended and will now run until 31st January 2026.
