Background
St. Helen's College of St. Helen's, Merseyside initially used the services of CPC's Contracting team to complete a tender project on their behalf. In the case, the core objective was to conduct a compliant procurement process for the renewal of the provision of lift servicing and maintenance across the estate. The project was conducted through an open request for quotation, to allow as wide an opportunity as possible to engage with potential suppliers for this new service. After the end of the contract with St. Helen's College and CPC’s Contracting team, the On Demand team picked up the tender, following the initial evaluation. A rapid turnaround was required for the project, in order to ensure that the contract was incepted as soon as possible. The final report was provided and approved by St. Helen's College, resulting in the On Demand team completing the tender by providing feedback letters to all suppliers, managing the standstill period and the contract.
Our strategy
Approximately four days of support was provided, including online meetings. Recommendations were provided regarding award criteria, weightings and the timetable to ensure the process to successfully meet the college’s deadlines.
Outcome
The college went through a compliant process which resulted in a new supplier being appointed; an experienced supplier capable of delivering their full requirements.
