The 2024 UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list has been launched by Great Place To Work® UK, recognising Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) as 87th in the medium organisations category.

This is the second time CPC has achieved this recognition, with colleagues’ wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and supported in a number of ways, including:

  • Access to multiple mental health first aiders

  • An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

  • Mental and Financial Wellbeing section of intranet, which includes valuable resources, tools and webinars

  • Flexible and remote working to support the wellbeing of colleagues

CPC has already had a hat-trick of accreditations from Great Place To Work® in 2024, including Best Workplaces in March, Best Workplaces for Development in May and Great Place To Work® for the fourth year running.

The UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ rankings include organisations with employees who experience high levels of wellbeing in their workplace.

To compile the prestigious list, Great Place To Work® culture experts analysed thousands of employee surveys, assessing their holistic experiences of wellbeing at work through fundamental facets of employee wellbeing, including work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction and financial security.

Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® UK, said:

Wellbeing, engagement and trust between employees are critical ingredients to successful workplace culture. Now in our third year of the UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list, we’re able to showcase the leading UK organisations providing environments conducive to outstanding psychological, physical, financial and social wellbeing. It’s no secret that by ensuring employees feel genuinely trusted and cared for, they are much healthier, productive and committed to the mission and purpose of the organisation. Congratulations to CPC for making this prestigious list!”

Jane Davies, CPC Head of People Development, said:

"We are so proud to be ranked a UK’s Best Workplace for Wellbeing™! At CPC, it’s our people that make our business a Great Place To Work® and this latest recognition is testament to their feedback. The Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list recognises that supporting employee wellbeing is more than just a package of impressive perks on a careers website - it’s a much broader and integral notion, intertwined into the fabric of the organisation. By being included on this list, we’ve proved that trust remains a top priority within CPC and that our employees are truly at the heart of everything we do."
