We're thrilled to formally introduce Sustainable Energy First as exclusive suppliers of our latest Utilities Supplies & Services purchasing framework, establishing a strong, new partnership for CPC - in sustainability, energy procurement and beyond.
With over 50 years of combined experience in energy and business utility management, Sustainable Energy First are proud to be B Corp Certified and the largest privately-owned sustainability consultancy in the United Kingdom. Headquartered in the Lytham St. Annes in north-west England, SE First are now uniquely positioned as the exclusive supplier for the CPC Utilities Supplies & Services framework, making them your go-to experts for all gas, electricity and water procurement needs.
Sustainable Energy First are the preferred partner for sustainability consultancy services, carbon reporting, decarbonisation and energy efficiency for organisations seeking to reduce their environmental impact. Their successful record includes partnerships with institutions such as Edge Hill University and Myerscough College, where they have worked collaboratively to drive the establishments' decarbonisation efforts. Together, they have explored investments in renewable technologies and have identified energy inefficiencies, all with the goal of reducing dependency on fossil fuels.
SE First support some of the UK’s most prominent organisations across various sectors, while their focus on the education and public sectors enables them to deliver tailored solutions that reduce carbon emissions, optimise energy use and implement energy procurement and risk management strategies that control costs, while promoting long-term sustainability.
Darren Lowe, Managing Director of CPC, said, “We are delighted to appoint Sustainable Energy First as sole supplier for our Utilities Supplies & Services framework. As well as providing an impressive portfolio of utilities solutions, our new partnership will forge the way in supporting the education sector in navigating their own contribution to a sustainable future.”
Anthony Mayall, Chief Commercial Officer of Sustainable Energy First, added, “Sustainable Energy First has set a carbon reduction target, which has committed us to decarbonising the UK’s non-domestic carbon footprint by 327,170 tonnes of CO2e by 2028. Following the Inenco acquisition, this target will need to grow, due to the size of the combined client base.
"We relish this challenge and look forward to working with Crescent Purchasing Consortium members and the education sector, bringing more clients on this sustainability journey with us".
