Originally founded on Ynys Môn in 1990, Huws Gray are still there today, having expanded their initial four-person team into a 5,500+ employee operation across the branch network, with 300+ branches spanning Wales, England and Scotland come 2023.
Having successfully secured their position on CPC's 2023 agreement, Huws Gray are able to service its categories of Building Materials, Tools and Hardware Supplies and Timber Supplies, as well as providing a One-Stop Shop option for CPC members.
With their National Distribution Centre the biggest of its kind used in our public sector, over 4,000 products from the Huws Gray Essentials range are kept continually stocked, allowing institutions quick and easy access to a truly extensive range of repair and maintenance goods; for orders placed prior to 3pm, the team can facilitate next day delivery to your designated address, as well as 11,000+ third-party collection points around the UK (including the Post Office and various chain stores).
Huws Gray Essentials include the provision of everything from adhesives to ironmongery to plumbing resources and our 10,000+ registered CPC members can explore the procurement of their goods with the help and support of a dedicated Contract Manager upon use of our established Building Materials, Tools and Hardware Supplies purchasing framework.
Please note, despite the approaching Procurement Act 2023, this CPC agreement will continue to be governed by Public Contract Regulations 2015 to the end of its lifespan (scheduled for 18th February 2026, with a two-year extension option).
