MacIntyre Hudson now MHA Audit Services LLP

By CPC Helpdesk

In wake of their admission to the London Stock Exchange in April and a successful novation, approved Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) framework suppliers MacIntyre Hudson will now be undertaking audit work as MHA Audit Services LLP.

Having fulfilled the relevant obligations, CPC members are advised that MHA will continue to service all 29 lots of our Audit and Financial Services agreement, which is recommended to schools and academies by the Department for Education (DfE).

As MacIntyre Hudson, MHA had also previously supported the preceding Audit Services framework, which ran from 2020-24.

Launched that December, CPC's current Audit and Financial Services offer enables UK education institutions to attain and/or retain compliance and stability via statutory external and internal audit options, as well by procuring financial services support.

With the external and internal auditing resources covered by geographically-divided lots, the framework caters to contracting authorities in nine different English regions, as well as Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

One of up to 15 contracted suppliers per lot, the new MHA structure continues the evolution of a group whose roots can be traced as far back as 1869, when the original firm that would become MacIntyre Hudson was established (becoming founding members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales).

As a leading professional provider of audit and assurance, tax, accountancy and advisory services, MHA's directors believe their move to a Plc will support the group's next stage of growth, providing a strong platform to attract, incentivise and retain staff across the business and strengthen their market position, while enabling new investment. Having doubled in size over the last six years, MHA now employs more than 1,800 people in total and has 160 partners, based across its network of 23 offices.

Like all CPC framework suppliers, MHA have been assessed and approved in advance, a process which represents helpful due diligence for our 10,000+ members, saving them valuable time and effort by completing the vetting and shortlisting for them.

Whether seeking Audit and Financial Services, or provision from an entirely different category, members can thus be assured that the cohort of suppliers available to them via a CPC purchasing framework are both capable and credible within their fields.
