The Department for Education signpost schools and academies to a number of the CPC framework agreements and as part of this process we provide the DfE with evidence of savings that have been made by schools and academies through the frameworks.
There is such good news in this data that we wanted to share this with you to help spread the word of the savings that could be achieved if you purchase via a CPC framework.
Looking at software licenses (Microsoft, Adobe, VM ware) as an example, our data shows that on average, schools are saving 16.49% when using the Software Licenses framework compared to what they were previously paying!
The ICT Network Solutions framework shows the average purchase value through the framework by schools in quarter 3 last year was £23,000 and with average reported saving of 21.75%, that is a £5,000 saving per school. Imagine what your school could do with that money!
The savings are not just being made on products either, as our data shows savings are being made by schools and academies through our service frameworks too. Our Building Cleaning framework for example, over the past 3 years schools have reported average savings of 15.18%. When comparing that with the total contract values via the Building Cleaning framework for schools alone, this equates to over £2 million per annum!
Most schools, academies and colleges lease multifunctional printers (MFDs). Our data shows the schools using the CPC MFD framework are on average reporting an 18.81 % saving on their previous MFD lease contract price.
