Thank you to all our CPC members who stopped off at the CPC Village as part of the recent Schools and Academies Show at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham.
As in the springtime event in London, the CPC Village was at the heart of the action for the course of this one-day event, with our on-site barista responsible for upwards of 600 coffees, ensuring stakeholders from the sector could stay suitably refreshed.
Visitors to the Village on Wednesday 20th November were able to call on CPC's procurement expertise and advice, first-hand, while we were also delighted to be joined by a number of our trusted framework suppliers, welcoming representatives of Aegis Support Services, Agilico, Atlas Cleaning, Bunzl Greenham, Day's Rental, Dulux, Office Express, Roche AV, the Schools Advisory Service, the Supply Register, Towergate Insurance, YESSS Electrical and Zurich Insurance to promote their various offerings.
Among the travelling contingent from Crescent Purchasing Consortium were Managing Director, Darren Lowe, who organised time in his busy schedule to take in some of the day's expert talks, along with our dedicated Learning and Development Lead, Mark Pearson, who formed part of a special 'Better Buying' seminar at the event's on-site Business & Finance Theatre.
The day also saw the official announcement of CPC's next Giving Back funding window, which opens on 6th January.
CPC's presence at the biannual Schools and Academies Show concluded a busy events calendar for the autumn period, following preceding appearances at the Education People's Show and the Schools North East Summit.
