The 2024 UK’s Best Workplaces in Charity & Not-For-Profit™ list was revealed by Great Place To Work® UK this week, recognising Crescent Purchasing Consortium among the organisations in the Medium/Small category.
CPC’s employees anonymously reported all the aspects that make the company a Great Place To Work® and this award has become the fifth workplace accreditation CPC has achieved this year as a result.
As a registered charity, one of CPC’s greatest assets is the commitment to Giving Back to UK education and, since 2019, CPC has designated over £1.56 million of reserves to projects providing free or subsidised services.
By using CPC frameworks, you help to make such work a reality, backing our 10,000+ members in their quest to adequately help learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), support the physical and mental wellbeing of all learners, and assist in absenteeism.
The brand-new for 2024 Best Workplaces in Charity & Not-For-Profit list is created using the anonymous feedback from employees working in the industry about their workplace experience. Great Place To Work® UK administered their research-backed Trust Index© employee survey and analysed the responses of UK-based charity and not-for-profit sector employees to determine the Best Workplaces™ list.
The surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security.
Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.
Analysis of the sector employee survey responses found:
87% of employees at the UK’s Best Workplaces for Charity & Not-For-Profit say “when I look at what we accomplish, I feel a sense of pride”, compared to a UK average for sector of 78%
89% of employees at the UK’s Best Workplaces for Charity & Not-For-Profit say “I’m proud to tell others I work here”, compared to a UK average for sector of 69%
