Graduation and Ceremonial Gowns, Photography and Event Services

This framework is for the supply and delivery of Graduation and Ceremonial Gowns, Photography and Event Services.  

The purpose of this framework is to deliver an efficient and compliant route to market for participating public bodies, by minimising the resource and providing value for money.  The agreement is divided in 3 Lots:  

Lot 1 - Gown Hire, Gown Purchase

Lot 2 - Photography and Media Services

Lot 3 - One-Stop Shop

Legally compliant tendering process       

A specification for member institutions to achieve value against total cost      

Savings and benefits that can be achieved for both students and HEI’s

Price negotiations      

Management information and protection of revenue for members 

Ability to apply institutional requirements during the mini-comp stage

Suppliers are evaluated on responsible procurement and social value to ensure that the agreement meets the requirements of the sustainability, equality and diversity policies and standards of both the consortium and members and where needed, helped to achieve standards LUPC would expect of suppliers

Advice and support for members on any aspects of tendering and further additional support as needed

The framework offers drivers for value for money by enabling mini-competition

1. Using this framework supports our Giving Back initiative. Our charity's focus is on SEND, wellbeing and absenteeism

To call off from this framework you must run a mini competition. 

However, should a member have a need to direct award based on mitigating factors such as lack of time to run a competition, that member must do a due diligence exercise to mitigate risk of challenge.

Please note, Direct Award on ranked suppliers is not available on this framework. No suppliers have been ranked in the original framework tender process.

Important Procurement Act 2023 requirement

It is very important for CPC members to register on the new Find a Tender Service to create your organisation’s unique procurement identifier, known as an API Key. You then need to add the API Key to your profile on our MultiQuote eSender portal to run compliant mini competitions for our frameworks. It is a requirement under Procurement Act 2023 that relevant notices are published to the Find a Tender Service and MultiQuote can only publish your notices if you have added your API Key.
