I joined the CPC as a Web Developer after graduating from Liverpool John Moores University with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Computer Science. Since I have started here I would say I have settled in well at the company.
CPC have provided me with a good amount of training both directly related to my core duties as well as what could be considered “extra-curricular” such as fire safety training including the use of fire extinguishers.
I have been given a good amount of responsibility since I started, whilst still being given time and room to grow both personally and technically. I've worked on new projects that are important to the company whilst still being given my own freedom to explore many solutions to technical issues. I've also explored new technologies that the company could take on-board both now and in the future.
What I've liked so far about working at CPC is the tight-knit nature of working here. The office is just the right size that there are plenty of people to meet but not so large that it feels like working for a faceless corporation. The benefits of knowing everyone in the office really have shone through.
