The Windsor Forest Colleges Group, which is comprised of two Sixth Form Colleges at Strode's and Windsor, a specialist technical college in Slough and a specialist land-based college in Maidenhead, employed CPC to conduct a procurement process for the tender of Land Agent Services.
Our Strategy
This was conducted via a Closed Request for Quotation (RFQ) route to market so that the Group could invite six, pre-agreed appropriate Agents to bid.
Approximately 5 days were taken to complete the project with a mixture of remote and onsite work undertaken by CPC Procurement Manager Eve Metcalfe, who is based in Grantham, Lincolnshire with all agency interviews conducted in person.
Support provided throughout the process included:
Producing a comprehensive tender pack including Invitation to Tender and Pricing Schedule
Co-ordinating the publication of the tender on the e-tendering portal MultiQuote
Publication of the Invitation to Tender
Evaluating tenders
Hosting Agent interviews
Writing a detailed recommendation report
Generally providing procurement consultancy support and guidance throughout the process
Outcome
CPC recommended an effective route to market that met the Group's required timescales and budget and the Group went through a successful and compliant procurement process in line with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR2015 regulations) with an experienced Agent being appointed.
"Until now, I’d never managed a Land Agent Services tender before and so it was really interesting researching the requirements and developing the specification alongside the Client. Windsor Forest College Group were fully engaged throughout the process, enabling me to run a successful procurement with the best Agent for the job being appointed"
