CPC members can buy insurance for colleges and/or insurance-related services/products directly from insurers, via brokers or a mixture of both using this college insurance cover framework.
The framework provides CPC members with college insurance covers which include but are not limited to:
- Loss of or damage to any property including IT equipment, money, refrigerated/frozen food, property in transit
- Works of art insurance
- Loss due to dishonesty of employees or crime by third parties
- Loss or damage to contract works
- Loss or damage caused by terrorism
- Employers liability
- Public and products liability
- Governors and officers liability
- Libel and slander
- Professional liability

Members buying insurance for colleges must undertake a further competition to select a provider considering your own college insurance requirements. Please read the user guide for full details, guidance and template documentation.
For a 1st August renewal date you should ideally start the process in January/February and issue the completed questionnaire to the providers around March/April to allow adequate time for providers to respond.
