CPC appointed UniLink Finance Limited as their master vendor leasing advisor through a competitive tendering process to access the necessary sector expertise to put in place the CPC Dynamic Purchasing System for Leasing Services. On 1st November 2022 the Leasing Services Dynamic Purchasing System was launched. Further information on the DPS can be found at the above link.

UniLink continue to support CPC with the operational running of the DPS throughout this framework, including providing support to CPC member institutions through the following:

  • Assisting members with their development of their capital equipment financing strategy where necessary.
  • Advising on the most appropriate financing route for the procured capital equipment.
  • Assisting with the preparation and distribution of tender documents.
  • Undertaking the full further competition process on behalf of members where instructed
  • Assessing all proposals received and making appropriate recommendations to CPC Members
  • Ensuring each lease is compliant with relevant legislation and legal requirements especially where set by funding bodies.
  • Completing and disseminating recommendation reports for all tender activities.
  • Providing advice pertinent to the extension/termination of current leases ensuring full legal compliance as well as commercial risk mitigation.
  • Providing detailed advice/negotiation/recommendations about end of lease return of equipment.
  • Providing lease management services where required.
  • Assisting with the preparation of leasing documentation.
  • Engaging with Lessors to obtain all existing Lease contract documentation and review with recommendations for the member.
  • Supporting our members on any technical queries
