Employee screening changes - what to expect in 2021

Published

By Ria Logan

Enhance your category knowledge and encourage your HR colleagues to join Reed Screening (a supplier on CPC’s Employee Screening Services framework) for their upcoming webinar as they discuss the future of employee screening and what this means for employers.

Are you interested in:

  • The outcome of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) Inquiry on digital right to work, which has been issued to Ministers calling for long-lasting change?
  • How COVID-19 has changed Right to Work?
  • What the DBS filtering rule changes mean to you as an employer?

Should your answer to any of the above be yes, then this is the webinar for you.

There have been changes to ‘Right to Work’ brought about by COVID-19 and Reed Screening have been lobbying UK Government to determine the future of right to work checks and keeping them digital. Right to work checks continue to be remote with the Home Office reverting back to face to face with 2 weeks’ notice. You’ll get to hear an update on the APPG Inquiry in this webinar, along with what this will mean for you as an employer.

DBS filtering rules have changed disclosure periods for standard and enhanced checks. It is important for you, if you’re an employer, to understand what that means to your organisation.

Speakers include:

Andrew Henderson - The Secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) Inquiry

Dominic Headley - Founder of Dominic Headley Associates (DHA)

Keith Rosser - Home Office ECHO Committee Member, APPG Member, and Director of Reed Screening

Tuesday 23rd March – 12:00-13:00 – Register

Schedule:

Introduction

Keith Rosser – Innovating the labour market

Dominic Headley – Essential police check updates

Andrew Henderson – APPG Inquiry on Right to Work & Digital Identity update
