We are very happy to announce that CPC’s Synthetic Sports Facilities framework is now featured on the Find a DfE approved framework for your school website. It is the only framework of its kind to be recommended by the DfE.

The framework has been designed for the education sector and it covers everything you need for the construction, installation, refurbishment, servicing and maintenance of any outdoor sports facilities. Some examples include:

• Artificial grass pitches
• Multi-use games areas (MUGAs)
• Specialist courts
• Cricket wickets
• Athletics tracks

The framework contractors will use their specialist knowledge to provide hard-wearing surfaces with longevity that are a safe environment for students’ recreational and sporting needs.

Maintenance services are also available to ensure pitches have an appropriate level of preservation which can extend the life of surfaces so that they are safe to play on, can retain certification (such as FIFA, FIH etc) and maximise the value of the facilities.

Benefits of using this framework include:

• Framework suppliers are lead contractors rather than manufacturers, allowing for a single relationship with a supplier who will undertake the majority of works
• Contractors have attained a wide variety of accreditation for installation, health and safety compliance, testing etc
• All contractors have been assessed across a range of relevant criteria and possess the policies, procedures and processes necessary to successfully deliver requirements to a high standard
