Building Materials, Tools & Hardware Supplies update

CPC are delighted to announce that the re-tendered Building Materials, Tools & Hardware Supplies framework launched on 18 February 2023.  

The structure of the new framework focuses on providing CPC members with a compliant route to market allowing them to purchase at a substantial and demonstrable discount relative to the marketplace throughout the term of the Framework Agreement.

The Framework Agreement covers a range of brick, roofing materials, plasterboards, timber materials, tools, fixings and hand & power tools.

Please may all CPC members be advised that B&Q are no longer on our Building Materials, Tools & Hardware Supplies framework and, as of 19th February, they will no longer honour any discounts whilst procuring their goods.

We would like to take the opportunity to showcase four suppliers, detailed below, who service the framework and its lots, along with the potential savings you can acquire when procuring goods via them, which increases your buying power, pound for pound.  

A reminder that all our approved suppliers go through a robust vetting process to ensure they are compliant with procurement regulations, while providing you with competitive savings and value for money.

Screwfix Direct - When engaging with members, in addition to the 8% discount offered, Screwfix Direct look for opportunities of project work and larger quotes of which they can support which can result in additional discounts being offered.

Jewson Ltd - This discount excludes special net prices (non-discountable and promotional items) some of which are associated with KVI products (known value items). If our members conduct a further competition for substantial orders, Jewson may be able to negotiate on further price reductions to ensure you are getting the best VFM on the full range of their products. If any Member buys goods directly from Branch, quoting CPC as a framework, the 10% off website price will not be applied as there is no way off monitoring or reporting on this buying activity.

City Electrical Factors Ltd - Products all have the maximum level of manufacturer discount applied to them to give a sale price as advertised and are priced to be competitive in the marketplace. Additional discounts are offered for bulk buys of products, which typically is between 2-5% off the individual price.

Huws Gray - This discount would be dependent on the manufacturer and would be discussed with the member when an order is placed.
