Utilities Supplies offering secures DfE endorsement

CPC are delighted to confirm our Utilities Supplies & Services framework is now officially Recommended by the Department for Education (DfE).

Renewed in October 2022 for a further five years, the Utilities Supplies & Services framework agreement provides support and guidance for CPC member institutions looking to procure superior energy and gas supplies, helping to identify and lock in savings, while ensuring regulatory compliance. Comprised of seven separate lots, establishments can also use the framework to acquire a range of other utilities solutions, from on-site generation to metered/unmetered water supply. The distinction of this agreement has led to its DfE endorsement, joining 14 other approved agreements in the wider CPC portfolio.               

“We are thrilled the DfE has given its seal of approval to our Utilities Supplies & Services framework, making it our latest agreement in a growing list to have earned this significant Recommendation”, said CPC Contract Manager, Michelle Newcombe. “To receive the DfE endorsement is testament to the work of CPC and Dukefield Energy in presenting a framework that delivers compliance, savings and real results for our members”.

CPC’s specialist energy consultants, Dukefield Energy are the framework’s experts and exclusive suppliers, carrying out each tendering process, sourcing value and efficiency, as required. The successful working partnership between CPC and Bolton-based Dukefield has been formally extended to 2027, with its Utilities Supplies & Services framework a centrepiece. In its previous tenure, the framework helped to drive savings of over £3.2 million across the schools, academies, colleges and universities that put it to work via their CPC membership.
