New Broadcasting Equipment framework goes live

Published

Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) are delighted to announce the launch of a new Broadcasting Equipment & Integration Services purchasing framework, an agreement devised to support UK education institutions which require the provision of related goods and services.

Following a successful tender exercise, NWUPC’s new Broadcasting Equipment & Integration Services framework, which is open to CPC members, went live on 1st July, bolstering a diverse portfolio of more than 85 frameworks, with a growing number Recommended by the Department for Education (DfE).

The Broadcasting Equipment & Integration Services framework is divided into two separate lots, with the first handling the supply of video, camera, lighting, rigging and amplification equipment, plus more, while the second concerns itself with both supply and integration, encompassing associated services.

Lot 1 will be serviced by seven suppliers in total - Creative Video Productions, GVAV, Jigsaw24, Proactive UK, StudioCare Professional Audio, The Digital Garage Group and Wex Photo Video.

Lot 2 meanwhile contains both The Digital Garage Group and CJP Broadcast Service Solutions.

CPC Contract Manager, Jane Edwards said, “Our new Broadcasting Equipment & Integration Services framework is an exciting addition to the CPC catalogue and one we hope our schools, academies, trusts, colleges and universities will be able to benefit from in the coming academic year”.

“It’s a specialist field, but we’re confident the suppliers who have engaged in the tender process and been added onto the framework have the experience and expertise to deliver for our members”.

It’s been a busy few weeks on the new framework front and the newly launched Broadcasting Equipment & Integration Services agreement only adds to the quality and diversity of selection our members can benefit from when choosing CPC.

As supporters of the arts and the creativity that inspires so many students, CPC are thrilled to help connect members with suppliers who can bring their theatre, media and broadcast projects to life.

As well as this new Broadcasting Equipment & Integration Services agreement, CPC offer adjacent purchasing frameworks for Audio Visual Equipment & Installation Services (consisting of two lots, covering the supply of equipment and installation provisions) and Photographic Equipment & Consumables (with a selection of five suppliers). Both of these frameworks are DfE endorsed.

CPC frameworks are intended to help institutions make time and money go further, engaging competition between vetted and approved suppliers, while reducing the workload of schools, academies, colleges and universities seeking to procure their required services and/or goods.

Frameworks are accessible to all CPC members, with registration free-of-charge and more than 9,500 members across the United Kingdom having signed up with the Greater Manchester-based purchasing consortium, which is owned by the education sector and operated by its parent charity, the CPL Group.
