Suppliers showcased at Schools & Academies Show

Published

On Wednesday 22nd November, we were pleased to promote CPC and welcome delegates to the CPL Village, as the education procurement services/supplier base returned to the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham for the final Schools & Academies Show (SAAS) of 2023.

As part of the CPL Group, CPC have been regular attendees of the Schools & Academies Show in recent years, making the pilgrimage to showcase our purchasing frameworks and affiliated consultancy options, while being supported by an army of supply chain experts, who each service these frameworks.

For the second successive SAAS, the CPL Village was sponsored by the team at Wella Professionals, who brought a touch of glamour to the proceedings, including a 360 selfie machine and touch screens at their pod, not to mention some fantastic giveaways. Many thanks to Wella for their continued support.

Did you know Wella Professionals have developed their own unique degree to support young people in schools and academies breaking into the hair industry with a wide selection of career opportunities? In a prime location on the NEC floor, no fewer than 15 CPC framework suppliers made the CPL Village their home for the day, with smiles aplenty on show.

Thanks to our exhibiting suppliers...

Lewis & Graves Partnership Ltd. (facilities management services)
Dukefield Energy (specialist energy consultancy)
Aon (global professional services)
YESSS Electrical (electrical supplies, services and solutions)
CLC Facilities Ltd. (total engineering solutions)
Towergate Insurance (insurance intermediaries)
CleanEvent Services Ltd. (cleaning and support services)

Weightmans (legal services)
Sorce (desk booking solutions and intranet software)
Agilico (workplace technology and expertise)

With free tea and coffee sponsored by AON and cakes provided by Hutchinson, the Village again made an attractive destination for attendees, as well as an excellent opportunity to showcase the CPL Group's current Giving Back charitable funding window, which remains open for applications until 7th December.

The next SAAS meanwhile will take place on Wednesday 1st May 2024 at the ExCeL in London, with the CPL Village set to return once more; only this time, with a notable difference, to be revealed! If you are interested in joining us in the English capital next spring, or in having a conversation about this high profile event in the UK education calendar, please get in touch ASAP to discuss early bird offers (contact Rana Holland to learn more).

Thank you to all the suppliers who donated raffle prizes.

The list of raffle prizes on offer at the CPL Village were...

  • Wella hamper
  • Premier League tickets
  • Two-night stay
  • Champagne
  • Amazon voucher

We hope to see you in May for another successful SAAS!
