Crown Paints, one of the suppliers on CPC’s Paint and Decorating Supplies framework, recently announced an increase in prices for all non-tendered products as of 1st July 2022.
Products which have been assessed as a part of the framework tender have not been affected by this change, so members can rest assured that these prices are now frozen until the framework expires at the end of August. Non-tendered prices will be increasing by an average of 9.5% across all ranges and brands.
John O’Sullivan (National Sales Manager at Crown Paints) said;
“As you are probably aware, and widely reported in the industry press and wider media, we continue to experience significant upward pressures on our cost base, driven mostly by key component raw materials, energy & fuel costs, significant rises in packaging costs and logistics. We have endeavoured to manage these challenges on our cost base however, in spite of significant efforts to mitigate the impact of these increases it has now unfortunately become necessary to review our pricing.”
Further information on the market can be found on the British Coatings Federation (BCF) website.
CPC’s Paint and Decorating Supplies framework is currently being retendered and is intended to be live on 1st September 2022.
