2024 has been one of the most rewarding years in CPC history, as we continued our mission of Giving Back to the UK education sector and enhancing teaching and learning via procurement. Here's a look back at some of the highlights!
CPC announces brand harmonisation in its 25th anniversary year
In March, we were pleased to inform our members of the merger of the CPL Group, CPC and Tenet Education Services brands into one united identity of Crescent Purchasing Consortium.

CPC surpasses the milestone of 10,000 registered members
As CPC’s landmark 25th anniversary year continued to offer cause for celebration, we were delighted to pass the milestone total of 10,000 CPC members at the start of April.

The inaugural CPC Supplier Excellence Awards was announced for the summer, as CPC looked to celebrate and reward a host of framework suppliers that went above and beyond for our valued member community.

Crescent Purchasing Consortium was Certified™ as a Great Place To Work® for a fourth straight year in 2024, with 93% of employees affirming this status in a further validation of CPC's company culture.

CPC Village hits Schools and Academies Show, plus further events
CPC was out and about at different events in May, with appearances at the Schools and Academies Show (where a new CPC Village was unveiled), the AoC Finance Conference & Exhibition and Procurex National.

CPC funds student wellbeing support at Darlington college
CPC's Giving Back charity initiative provided Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College in Darlington with more than £9,000 in funds, to support 1,900+ students' mental wellbeing via a 24/7 app.

A £1,000 grant from CPC's Giving Back coffers helped The City of Liverpool College to host a special World Cup-style tournament, supporting their community cohesion goals.

CPC welcomes MFD specialist Kath Johnson to its team
