Crescent Purchasing Consortium is proud to report that more than 20 purchasing frameworks in CPC's extensive framework catalogue are now officially recommended by the Department for Education and signposted via the Find a Framework tool.
At the time of writing, some 24 of CPC's promoted agreements (including Dynamic Purchasing Systems) had secured a seal of approval from the UK DfE, whose dedicated Schools Commercial Team (SCT) is tasked with assessing nominated procurement frameworks for their regulatory compliance, simplicity, suitability and value. This new figure is the highest on record since CPC consolidated its brands into a one-stop procurement shop, encompassing frameworks, consultancy, learning & development and charity. We are delighted, and welcome all institutions that have found our site and services through a DfE endorsement.
Crescent Purchasing Consortium is a 10,000+ member community, spanning schools, academies, colleges and universities. Like the SCT in its assessment process, CPC is open to feedback from its stakeholder institutions and our expert contracting team is continually looking to institute fresh and improved frameworks, empowering the education sector to buy better... and better!
Our spate of DfE recommendations serves as validation of our efforts, as we continue to strive to be the procurement services partner of choice for the sector, Giving Back to so many young learners through our flagship charity initiative, along the way.
The following frameworks (and DPS) are all now recommended by the Department for Education, either to schools & academies, specifically, or the sector as a whole. Each of these agreements are fully compliant with the relevant public purchasing regulations, namely Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or, latterly, Procurement Act 2023.
